How You Can Help
Take In

Foster a Pet

Put simply, fostering saves lives. The more fosters we have, the more animals we can take in. For every dog we take in, there is one less dog taking up valuable space in one of the local over-crowded shelters.  Fosters allow us to not only save the dog they’ve agreed to foster, but likely also the dog that would have been put down to make room for it in the shelter.  Fostering also helps socialize dogs to a home environment, helping to better prepare them for adoption.  We cannot emphasize enough how crucial fosters are to the rescue or how much we appreciate them.

We need all sorts of fosters: long-term fosters, hospice fosters, emergency fosters, short-term fosters, mom and puppy fosters, big dog fosters, small dog fosters, bottle baby fosters, fosters who cover vacations for other fosters, senior dog fosters, even the occasional kitty and bunny fosters.  If there’s a nitch you prefer, we can work with you!  We provide everything needed (food, bowls, meds, crates, blankets, vet care).

Be a Volunteer

We LOVE our volunteers! At any given time, we house anywhere from 25-60 animals at our rescue facility, so we are always in need of volunteers to help us care for them and the property! We need help with everything from poop-scooping, bathing/walking/playing with dogs, doing laundry, mucking stalls and pens, cleaning crates, raking leaves, bathing &  brushing horses, walking & riding horses (experienced riders only), sweeping sidewalks, sanitizing dog dishes, checking water levels, sanitizing kennels, and that’s just the daily/weekly chores! We also have special projects we need occasional help with around the property as we continue to improve it for the comfort and safety of the animals and functionality for the volunteers.

If poop-scooping and mucking stalls is not your thing but you still want to volunteer, we also need people who can help set-up, work, and tear-down booths at adoption events and help with fundraisers for the rescue.

All ages are welcome!

Give Back

Make a Donation

Every dollar donated to the rescue benefits the animals while making them feel loved and safe during their transition time with us before they go to their furever homes!

We cannot thank you enough for giving out of the kindness of your hearts.

Speak Up

Spread the Word

Please be an advocate for animals, tell your friends & family about us, participate in our fundraisers, invite others to our events, and share our posts on Facebook.

We are also desperately looking for volunteers to write grants. Please contact us if you can help!

Superheroes, Contractors, & Skilled Workers Needed!

We have a large rescue facility housing many different types of animals, so we can definitely use some help from contractors (welders, electricians, plumbers, general contractor, etc) or people who know how to do it all!

Any time donated by licensed professionals would be a tax write off for the business.
