Clyde has been settling in nicely over the last 2 weeks.  He is getting used to all the new sights and smells of his yard and starting to realize that this is his forever home!  We have enjoyed getting to know him as well, as everyday brings something new that we learn about him.  It took him about a week to dig into his toy basket, and now enjoys taking all the toys out at once to give them all equal playtime!  He’s learning to return the ball, (but prefers to play keep away),  he loves the backyard, and is getting more comfortable exploring without us being right with him.  He loves his bed and has decided that he likes to sleep in as well.  He will get up with us, give kisses, and go right back to sleep.  He LOVES to be brushed and will now roll over on each side without being prompted.  He’s doing well with his basic commands and is quick to learn and eager to please.

We have had so much fun with him, it feels like he has been part of our family forever!  We can’t believe someone didn’t adopt him earlier, although we are so happy he waited for us!  Clyde is  such a sweet, funny boy, we just love him!!

Hi Morgan,

AbbyRose is continuing to be a little pistol, absolutely adorable, and very smart.  She already knows her name and most commands. She is doing well with housebreaking, is absolutely hysterical, and makes us laugh so hard at her antics and high energy we almost puke!  She is perfect for us and we are in love.  She seems to love us too with lots of wet kisses, enthusiastic wiggles and happy tailwagging.  She’s eating like a little horse and has learned that we don’t let her beg at the table for people food, but she gets treats, hugs, kisses and praise for all good deeds.  She is also well on her way with cratetraining and sleeping in her little bed in our bedroom.  She’s  chewed her way through two squeaker dog toys already and is starting on the third.  Loves to play and go shopping with us.  Not much on exercise walking, but chases a ball like a girl afire and loves riding anywhere in her dog stroller!   We start teaching her how to read Shakespeare next week. AbbyRose is just the best and we both are so happy with her!
