We also need volunteers. All ages (children under 18 must have a waiver signed prior to volunteering). The dogs are all in foster homes, so we are always in need of more homes for our babies to stay until a permanent home is found. We can always use help with projects around the new property and working with the rescue horses and ponies – cleaning, brushing, mucking stalls, and walking/riding (experienced riders only). Please print out and sign our PMMR Volunteer Release Form before coming out to help.
Maybe you’re not ready to adopt, but would like to help a dog in need. Perhaps you can provide a loving, supportive environment, but just aren’t ready to have a dog take up permanent residence. We hope you’ll consider becoming a foster dog parent who cares for a dog until we are able to find it a permanent, loving home.
Our foster families are invaluable in our mission to save dogs. We usually have an immediate need to remove a dog from their untenable situation. Yet we don’t have an immediate home for them. In such cases, our foster dog families can offer a “soft spot to fall” — and a place for these dogs to get ready for their forever home. If you’re interested in becoming a foster dog parent, please fill out our Application. Choose “Foster” as your interest option.
If you are interested in helping with grants (we desperately need this!!), PLEASE contact us through our Contact Us page or email Morgan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
