Gracie

Gracie is doing great!! You described her personality exactly the way she is. She is so sweet and gentle. The first few days she followed me around and would cry if I wasn’t in the room. She now is more secure and doesn’t get up every time I walk away. She has not had one accident in the house, but I do put her in the crate at night in the kitchen and when I leave the house. She does not go the bathroom when she is on the leash but she prefers to go out back in our yard when she is by herself. I think it is good that we have Casey for her. She does take her cues from him and she is really sweet with him. Casey seems used to Gracie being here and doesn’t pay her much attention now. The kids love her but she is still getting used to them and is still a little shy. I brought her to our vet the other day and they all loved her and thought she was in great health and just as sweet as she can be. Gracie fits in our family perfectly and I hope George finds a home soon too. I will send pictures soon of Gracie with Casey and the kids.

Rosie aka Darla

Rosie (Darla) is great. She is terrific with the kids and has bonded well with the two cats. This morning our outdoor cat caught a mouse and she and Rosie were playing with it. It got away unscathed. We are having Rosie spayed this week.

Thanks Hope the adopting is going great.

Floyd aka Donovan

We’ve had Floyd for a little over a month now and he’s doing very, very well. He had a couple of very minor health issues we are taking care of, but other than that he is a very HEALTHY dog. He just loves our 9 month old baby girl. He’s a great caretaker and sits beside her every chance he gets. He loves to give her lots of kisses, as you’ll see from the photos. He loves running around our yard and playing with his pull toy, chew toy and bones. He doesn’t know how to catch with his mouth, I guess no one ever played with him while he was growing up, but he’s learning. He a GREAT dog. Calm and quite at night, playful and energetic during the day. He’s only been with us for a short time but he’s now a huge part of our little family. We love him. Thank you for saving this sweet, sweet dog.

Diamond

Hi! I just wanted to give you an update on Diamond, the Dogo we adopted a couple of months ago. She’s wonderful! She looks better every day. She travels well. She loves her walks. She loves kids, company, the cats and she and Ritzy have developed a respectful and friendly relationship. We could not be more thrilled with her. She’s gentle, loving and fun.
Thank you,

Lea

Bounce

Greetings,

I want to update you and Bounce’s foster Mom on her progress.

It’s been two weeks now and Bounce is definitely a keeper. There have been some minor problems with Bounce growling at my #1 dog Abby. Abby is giving Bounce plenty of room and doesn’t challenge her. It appears that Bounce will be the dominent dog in this pack.

I am able to take the two of them for their daily walk with no problems. It’s not so easy walking two dogs but I manage. Some training will help that.

Bounce likes to be indoors with the people. I have to take her out to play in the yard. Abby loves to spend time in the yard.

I was hoping Bounce would race with Abby in the back yard seeing that she is a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix but Abby makes Bounce look like a couch potato.

Bounce is a very sweet dog and likes to cuddle which Abby does not most of the time. I will enjoy both dogs for who they are. I am glad I finally took the step to adopt a second dog. I love them both.

Here are the two of them in the back yard. Bounce has the toy of coarse.

There is something buzzing in the myrtle. Of coarse they must investigate. They would not be this close together a week ago.

Abby will give up the squeaky cow every time. It’s just not safe to get in the way of Bounce as she pounces after a thrown cow.

A happy ending or beginning? for Bounce.
